Deputy David Cole caught the "Brass Ring" when 2 year old "Rugar" arrived as his new crime fighting partner.  "Rugar" is a Belgian Malinois that has been  trained in all paramilitary aspects of law enforcement.  In-spite of his military training, Deputy Cole reports that "Rugar" is very good natured at home-loves people, especially children; but, as any good law enforcement officer knows, prefers being on duty fighting crime.

Deputy Cole and Officer Rugar primarily patrol for the Somerset County Sheriff's Department; however, if the need arises for a K-9 specialist, Officer Rugar and Deputy Cole will respond to assist local law enforcement agencies. 

Since Officer Rugar has been trained for dual purpose - drug enforcement and tracking - we expect that these two officers will be very busy in Somerset County.  (Rugar loves attention, but always ask before patting him)
