The year 2009 marks an historic occasion - the Bicentennial of Somerset County!

The Bicentennial Planning Committee is raising awareness of the County's 200 years of history and adventures for its citizens and visitors. We are doing this by coordinating bicentennial celebrations to promote the county's growth while simultaneously attracting further tourism and business. Community involvement is encouraged among citizens, governments, civic organizations, corporations and public agencies. This provides an opportunity for you to play a key role in this once-in-a-lifetime historic celebration.

Planning, promoting and coordinating such a momentous observance will require financial support from community organizations. As an important member of the Somerset County community, we invite you to participate in this unforgettable celebration.
